About Soirée For A Cure
Soirée For A Cure is Brisbane’s premier gala fundraiser for children’s cancer projects. In 2025 the Soirée will once again raise money to fund amazing Brisbane children’s cancer projects.
In our first five years, we have funded multiple amazing children’s cancer research projects from QIMR Berghofer, Griffith University, the University of Queensland, the Ian Frazer Centre For Children’s Immunotherapy, and QUT. We have exceeded $1.85 million raised and are set on reaching the $2 million milestone in 2025.
Our 2024 Soirée For A Cure
The 2024 Soirée For A Cure was held on February 10th and supported Professor Joseph Yunis from the Ian Frazer Centre For Children’s Immunotherapy, who is doing ground-breaking research into Personalized Cancer Vaccines for Sarcomas in Children. In our fifth year, we raised over $430,000 for this children’s cancer project, bringing our five-year total to more than $1.85 million raised.
