‘Investigate new therapies for children with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG)’ – Professor Bryan Day (QIMR Berghofer)
The inaugural Soirée For A Cure held on Saturday 8th February 2020 was an outstanding event and successful in funding a $100,000 paediatric brain cancer research project at QIMR Berghofer.
The project funded was led by Professor Bryan Day from the Sid Faithfull Brain Cancer Laboratory at QIMR Berghofer, the key project teams goal was to investigate new therapies for children with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an incurable brain cancer.
